Ramadhan Mubaarak

Assalaamualaikum Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Alhamdulillah, we expect the blessed month of Ramadhan to begin on Wednesday 18th February, subject to the confirmed moon sighting. If the new moon is not sighted, Ramadhan will begin on Thursday 19th February, InshaAllah.

Accordingly, the first Tarawih will take place after Isha (8pm) on Tuesday 17th February, InshaAllah. If Ramadhan begins on Thursday, the first Tarawih will be on Wednesday 18th February after Isha (8pm). (Isha will be at 8.15pm from the 6th March)

We will be praying 8 Rakaat of Tarawih, followed by the Witr prayer. In the last 10 nights, we will also do an additional 4 Rakaats of Qiyaam Al-Layl, before the Witr.

Please take note of the following:

1. Please check the timetable regularly as Isha and Tarawih times will change.
2. Please consider car sharing to reduce congestion.
3. The driveway in front of the masjid is for Blue badge holders only and those with mobility issues
4. Please respect and listen to the car parking stewards on site.
5. We have additional car parking available at the GP CLINIC, which is a 2-minute walk from the masjid. Please refer to the Parking guide on where to park.
6. Respect our neighbours. Do not obstruct driveways or dropped curbs, and keep noise to a minimum on entering and leaving the masjid.
7. We are expecting it to be extremely busy. Please arrive early to ensure you get a spot inside the masjid.
8. Please only bring children if they can respect the Salah and can stand and pray next to you throughout the prayer.
9. We have allocated space for sisters to pray Isha and tarawih; however, once this is full, we will be unable to accommodate additional sisters.
10. Cheadle Masjid, our mother organisation, will also be offering Tarawih Salah, for those in local proximity may wish to attend there. The address is 337 Wilmslow Road. SK8 3NP.
