Youth-SHINE in collaboration with Wythenshawe Masjid are happy to present to you a Girls Retreat on 27th Oct 2024 from 10am to 6pm at Wythenshawe Masjid:

We hope to:
✅Teach girls about the history of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque and what this means to our Islamic identity.

✅Inspire girls to reflect upon their positive participation in society and act as proud confident citizens

✅ Motivate and acquire teamwork and problem solving skills through activities and workshops provided.

The conference will run from 10 am-5 pm for girls ages 11-16 years old. It will include refreshments, a Palestinian cuisine lunch and several exciting workshops and fun activities such as creating 3D Models of al Aqsa Complex, Archery and Embroidery.
It will be followed by a Bazaar open for all from 5-6pm. We will be selling Palestinian artefacts at the Bazaar including food and embroidered items.

Registration deadline is Wednesday 23rd Oct 2024. Hurry, as spaces are limited!
